Definitely amazing cut scenes and art direction. This oozes style from every pore. The game play itself was just "ok" but it kept me playing through to the end, something that most other flash games fail at.
I liked the switch up on the game mechanics with the changing lanes during the blaster scene at the end and the separately destroy-able sections on the larger boss ships. I was honestly expecting the whole game to be similar to that idea, where each level presented a new kind of "mini game" rather than just the same engine for each part, ie: some parts point and click, some parts action, some parts puzzle, etc.
You can tell this was poured over in every detail, my only wish is that the actual game itself had that same level of attention, thought, and effort. As it is, it's like the game "Asteroids" had a big budget hollywood production and animation team.
