Nega Teimosa

I went to visit my in-laws for Easter and made this video one evening with my bro. in law. He wrote and recorded the song, and stars in the video! Silly!

In Super Chibi Knight news, I did a live stream recently. I listen to music, draw bricks and a bird statue, animate some fire, and test a level a bit. Here it is in case you missed it:

I also finally got all the ducks in a row for the t-shirt orders from the Kickstarter campaign, they're being printed now! They should be ready to mail out in about 2 weeks!

I'll have some extra shirts from the print run, would you all be interested in buying a few if I put them up for sale on my website?

The video is a bit weird! XD Why did he wrote the song in Portuguese if you are not?

He lived in Brazil for a long time and loves the culture/language!

The video was hilarious and awesome, I'm Brazilian myself, so seeing that was really cool.

As for the Chibi Knight news, the graphics are looking epic, and I love watching your live streams (even though I can never catch them during recording).

Thanks man! I'm curious... what does "Nega" mean in Brazilian Portuguese?

"Nega" is a short for "Negra", that means the feminine of Black. So it pratically means "Stubborn Black Lady of something like that".
Also, I was really surprised by seeing the title of this news post.
Alright...

Is it a racist term? He says that everyone there uses it as a kind of term of endearment. Is that accurate?

I'll definitely buy myself some extra t-shirts.

Sweetness my friend!

Well, you see, you do use this as when you refer to someone youre dear to. Well, isn't Brazil just lovely?
But, seriously, it's like that, but's its just culture, there's no real racism here, I think.
Peace.

Ok, cool, he seemed adamant that it wasn't racist... :-)

It depends on the region. If you're in the south, "nega" is (often derogatory) slang for black female, but in the northeast and parts of the southeast, it's just an affectionate way to call your friends.

Interesting! Thanks for the info.

Hey! Sorry, but I forgot to say:
Super Chibi Knight is getting awesome! Maybe I'll buy it if I arrange the money!
Anyway, keep your work, it's great!

Thanks homie, I hope your moniez can be sufficiently arranged! :-D
