I played Settlers of Catan for the first time back in January at the Newgrounds Manchester Meet. Man it's a really fun game.

Heey, I also like to make figures with the game pieces... I like to make Carcasonne's little people do crazy stunts and human castles.
That idea you've had is gold (no pun intended). If I were your uncle, I'd be most moved by your gift, it shows you really have thought of him.
I've heard Carcasonne is good, I have it in my closet, but haven't played it yet. Is it similar to settlers?

You could also try 3D printing, it's getting cheaper by the day. It isn't as personal though.

My friend is donating his machine and time, so I'm just buying the materials, 3D printing seems a little overboard when the pieces are such simple shapes.
