It sounds cool, I was kinda hoping for chibi knight 2, but I'll trust in anything your geniality can throw together :)
I used to gamble behind the NES all the time when I was a kid, but I wasn't able to read back then (and it wouldn't help me, since it was all english) so, unless you'll use original NES sprites, I fear I might not be able to reckognize some of the characters :C
