So true. That rebel feel of NG seems to have waned with time, at least with regard to content, but then again the Internet doesn't seem to allow as much controversia as it once did. I'm glad we're standing up to the big 5 though, making our own way, maybe in the long run not having to rely on anything but the community itself to get by, and as such being free to do whatever we want with the place. Would be cool if it becomes a self-financed, unstoppable force of creative freedom and thought! Punk again.
