In Flash terms, there is no difference between coding and scripting. And damn, I'm not great with API... otherwise I might have been able to give this a shot. Probably wouldn't have done anyway though :P

It's not the flash drawing API, it's our own API to tie game results and status into the main Woogi World engine.

what kind of api integration are we talking? same rules that applied to the contest? because if so I am highly interested... Should I just send my coding portfolio... or...?

Similar ideas as the contest, send your stuff to that link and our programming team will take a look.

I think he means woogi's API, not the Flash drawing API, silly :p

Exactly.

Woogi World looks like Pangea.

Wasn't it called "Wigi World" or something before...?

Or something.

What the hell's an "opporunity"?

Oops, good catch...I must have accidentally used the "T-remover"

Yeah, I'm pretty sure it used to be called Wiggi World. Why was it changed?

@jonbro: I believe it involved theoretical lawsuits and the wiggles, of all people.

Yep, just playing it safe since we can't really afford to deal with a big time lawsuit.

when you say "capable," what does that mean in terms of difficulty?

what should one be able to program to be effective at this job?

Pretty simple as far as the game engines go, a little more advanced knowledge is needed for tie-ing your game into our API, but if you have any skill at all with AS logic, you won't have trouble figuring things out.

if i were employed by WW, would i have to churn out a steady supply of games, or is it more like sponsorships in that people are paid just whenever they make a game?

You'd have specific projects and deadlines to work on. You wouldn't be developing your own games at your leisure, it's a real job.
